The best gifts for Porsche lovers are prints that match the car the person actually loves: a 356 for the purist, a Carrera RS for the 911 devotee, a 917 for the racing fan. This guide lists twelve photographs from our catalogue, each with its real starting price, then explains which size and material make a gift worth keeping.
In addition, every photograph is a limited edition, numbered and delivered with a certificate. Starting prices run from €78 to €130, so there is a Porsche print for almost every budget. For the wider picture, our Christmas 2026 gift guide covers other marques and order deadlines.
Gifts for Porsche lovers: choose the car first, the wall second
First, find out which Porsche the person talks about. For example, a fan of early cars rarely cares about track times, and a track-day regular rarely wants a gentle 356. Then think about the wall: a landscape photograph suits a wide wall, while a square one fits a shelf, a desk or a narrow space.
If you are unsure, start with the generation rather than the model. Because air-cooled cars, turbo cars and racing cars each attract a different kind of owner, the sections below follow that logic. In addition, our guide on how to choose the right size helps when the recipient’s wall is unknown.

The starting price is the smallest size in canvas. Landscape photographs begin at €78 in 30 × 20 cm, whereas square photographs begin at €130 in 40 × 40 cm. Prices rise with size and material, so the next sections explain what each one costs.
For the purist: the 356 and the Speedster
The 356 is where the marque starts, and it is a favourite of people who prefer curves to power. The two 356 photographs above suit a quiet gift, for example for a collector who already owns books or models of early Porsches. Our guide to Porsche 356 photography explains why these cars photograph so well.
Similarly, the Speedster works in the same spirit. It is a lighter, more playful subject, and it makes a good present for someone whose taste leans towards open-top driving rather than racing.
For the 911 devotee: 901, Carrera RS, Targa and 964
To begin with, the 911 first appeared as the 901 in 1963 and took its familiar name the following year. Therefore, the Type 901 print is a thoughtful choice for a gift: it shows the model before the name was settled. Our article on 60 years of the 911 gives the background.
The Carrera RS suits the fan who knows the ducktail by heart; read the Carrera RS 2.7 story before choosing. Likewise, the Targa is ideal for a recipient who loves open-air motoring, and the Targa guide shows how the roof bar became a signature. Finally, the 964 Carrera RS is a good fit for someone who prefers the last years of the air-cooled era; see Porsche 964 and 993.
For the fan of speed: 930 Turbo S, RSR, 917 and GT3 RS
The 930 Turbo arrived in the mid-1970s and earned the nickname Widowmaker, a story told in our 930 Turbo article. Thus, the yellow Turbo S photograph is a bold present for someone who likes strong colour on the wall. To follow the whole lineage, see the 911 Turbo lineage.
Racing fans have three clear options. The Carrera RSR brings road-car shapes to the track, and the 917 recalls the car that gave Porsche its first overall Le Mans victory in 1970. Meanwhile, the GT3 RS on a wet runway is the modern choice, with the drama of spray and speed. In short, each of the three speaks to a different generation of enthusiast.
Finally, for something unexpected, the 911 Turbo and Piper Malibu in hangar light pairs a Porsche with a small aircraft, which suits a recipient who loves cars and aviation alike.
Size and material for gifts for Porsche lovers
Indeed, a gift should be easy to hang and hard to regret. For instance, for a landscape photograph, 60 × 40 cm is a safe size for a first print, and 90 × 60 cm gives a stronger presence above a sofa or desk. For a square photograph, 40 × 40 cm is compact and 60 × 60 cm is a solid centrepiece.
| Format | Canvas | Aluminium | Plexiglas |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landscape 60 × 40 cm | €167 | €215 | €355 |
| Landscape 90 × 60 cm | €247 | €397 | €680 |
| Square 40 × 40 cm | €130 | €145 | €257 |
| Square 60 × 60 cm | €200 | €267 | €445 |
These prices apply to most photographs of this guide in the same format, but they can differ for a few older prints, so always check the product page. If the budget is fixed, our guide to fine art gifts by budget shows what €78, €200, €500 and €1,000 really buy.
However, material matters as much as size. Canvas is the warmest and the most affordable; aluminium gives a sharper, more modern finish; plexiglas adds depth and gloss. In every case, the print is made to order, so allow time before the date you need it. Our shipping guide explains packaging and delivery.
Make gifts for Porsche lovers feel complete
To finish, add a short note with the name of the car and why you chose it. Because every print is numbered and comes with a certificate, the gift also has a story that a poster never has. Furthermore, a series of two prints makes a stronger present than a single small one; read diptychs and triptychs for the rules.
The best gifts for Porsche lovers come down to three choices: the car, the size and the material.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best gift for a Porsche lover?
In short, the best gift matches the car the person loves. A 356 print suits a purist, a Carrera RS or Targa suits a 911 fan, and a 917 or GT3 RS suits a racing enthusiast. Choose the generation first, then the size and material.
How much does a Porsche print cost?
Starting prices run from €78 for landscape photographs in canvas to €130 for square ones. Larger sizes and aluminium or plexiglas cost more. For example, a 60 × 40 cm aluminium print is €215 in the landscape format.
Which size is best for a first gift?
A 60 × 40 cm landscape print or a 40 × 40 cm square print is a safe start. Both hang easily and fit most walls. If the recipient has a large wall, move up to 90 × 60 cm or 60 × 60 cm.
Is every print a limited edition?
Yes, because each photograph is a limited edition, numbered, and delivered with a certificate. Check the product page for the edition details of the photograph you choose, because availability is specific to each print.
