Gifts for Supercar Lovers: 8 Fine Art Prints, from Lamborghini to Bugatti

8 limited edition fine art prints for supercar lovers, from Lamborghini to Bugatti, with sizes, prices from 78 euros and Christmas order dates.

Lamborghini Diablo blue Pacific Coast Highway limited edition fine art photography | Cars and Roses

The best gift for a supercar lover is not another model car or a branded cap. It is a large, well-printed photograph of the car he or she dreams about. Here are 8 limited edition fine art prints, from Lamborghini to Bugatti, with the sizes, the budget and the dates to order before Christmas.

Gifts for supercar lovers: how to choose the right print

First, decide whether the person likes one brand or the whole category. A Lamborghini fan will react to a Diablo or a Huracán, while someone who simply loves fast cars will enjoy a hypercar or a convoy. Next, choose between a single car and a scene. Finally, pick the material, because it sets the price and the look.

Our photographs are limited editions. For cars, the edition is limited to 200 numbered copies per size on aluminium or acrylic glass, and each print comes with a certificate of authenticity. Canvas is also available, outside the limited edition. To understand what that means in practice, read our guide to the value of limited edition prints.

8 fine art prints for a supercar lover

1. Lamborghini Diablo on the Pacific Coast Highway

A blue Diablo sweeps along a cliffside bend of the Pacific Coast Highway, with the ocean far below. Lamborghini built the Diablo from 1990 to 2001, and it is still the car that many collectors picture first when they think of a 1990s supercar. See this print.

2. Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 on the coast road

The Murciélago replaced the Diablo in 2001, and the LP 640 version arrived in 2006. Here an orange example takes the same coastal road in warm light. Because it shows a car, a road and a view in one frame, it suits a living room as well as a garage. See this print.

3. Lamborghini Huracán, low rear view

Presented in 2014 with a V10 engine, the Huracán is the Lamborghini most people see on the road today. This print shows a green one from a low rear three-quarter angle, so the wheel, the exhausts and the sharp rear design take centre stage. See this print.

4. Lamborghini Party: a supercar convoy

A purple Huracán leads a convoy of supercars along a mountain road. It is the busiest image in this selection, which makes it a good gift for someone who loves rallies, club drives and the pure fun of driving together. See this print.

5. Bugatti Chiron Sport at Big Sur

Two black Bugatti Chirons rest at a coastal viewpoint, tails towards the camera. The Chiron arrived in 2016 with an 8.0-litre W16 engine and 1,500 PS, so it is the natural pick for a fan of extreme performance. The dark paint works very well on a light wall. See this print.

6. Porsche GT3 RS and Bugatti Chiron: canyon road legends

A white and green Porsche 911 GT3 RS sits in front of a Bugatti on a canyon road, under a yellow warning sign. It suits a gift for someone who cannot choose between a track-focused car and a hypercar. See this print.

7. Porsche 918 Spyder, Martini stripes

Porsche limited the 918 Spyder to 918 cars, and this plug-in hybrid is often named with the Ferrari LaFerrari and the McLaren P1. The print shows its rear, with the wing and the Martini-style stripes, close enough that you see the details. If your giftee prefers Porsche, our 12 gift ideas for Porsche lovers go further. 8. Silver McLaren in front of a townhouse

A silver McLaren is parked in profile in front of a classical stone building with columns. The contrast between modern carbon-fibre-era lines and old architecture gives a calm, elegant print that fits an office or a hallway. See this print.

Which size, which material, which budget?

Prints start at €78 for a small canvas. The most common gift is an aluminium print at 60×40 cm, around €215, because it is light, glossy and ready to hang. For a larger wall, 90×60 cm in aluminium costs about €397, and 120×80 cm about €590. Acrylic glass gives more depth and colour, and costs more: about €355 at 60×40 cm and €1,087 at 120×80 cm.

If you are unsure about the wall, choose 60×40 or 90×60 cm. Dark photographs like the Bugatti Chirons look best on a light wall, while the bright coastal scenes work almost anywhere. Why a photograph makes a better gift than a poster

A poster is bought in seconds and forgotten just as fast. A fine art photograph is different, because it is printed on aluminium, acrylic glass or canvas, in a limited edition, and it stays on the wall for years. Supercar lovers also tend to know the cars very well, so they notice the angle, the light and the small details, such as the plate on the Porsche 918 or the curve of a Chiron tail light.

That is why we choose scenes that look good even to someone who has never seen the car. The coastal road, the canyon, the mountain convoy and the old stone townhouse all give the eye something to follow beyond the vehicle itself.

Where to hang a supercar print

In a living room, the coastal scenes work best, because they add colour and depth without looking like a garage. In a home office, choose a darker photograph such as the Chirons, which gives the room a serious tone. For a garage, a showroom or a games room, a larger aluminium print makes a stronger statement.

Hang the print at eye level, with its centre roughly 145 cm from the floor, and leave some space around it. A single large print usually looks better than several small ones. If you want to build a wall, start with one 90×60 cm print and add a second later.

Supercar fans often collect, so consider a print that can start a series. The Diablo and the Murciélago, shot on the same road, make a natural pair on one wall.

When to order for Christmas

As a guide, order before about 10 December for the United States and before about 19 December for France and the rest of Europe. Each print is made to order, so avoid waiting for the last week. You will find the packaging, customs and insurance details in our shipping guide.

FAQ: gifts for supercar lovers

What is the best gift for a supercar lover?

A large print of the car he or she loves most. A detail or a road scene often works better than a studio shot, because it tells a story. A numbered limited edition adds the pleasure of owning something rare.

How much should I spend on a supercar print?

Prints start at €78 for a small canvas. An aluminium print at 60×40 cm, around €215, is the usual choice for a gift. Larger sizes and acrylic glass cost more, so choose according to the wall.

Is the print numbered?

Yes. Car prints are limited to 200 numbered copies per size on aluminium or acrylic glass, with a certificate of authenticity. Canvas is not part of the limited edition.

Is the print ready to hang?

Yes for the aluminium and acrylic versions, which are mounted for hanging. Choose the size according to the wall and the furniture below it.
